I always hated t h e shakedown for funds. At times we did not have it. If there was a relaxing of rules I missed it. Atlantis would have a directive if it came from the top.

Is service far behind? Maybe even seeing to visiting some shutins as alluded to in another post--nah, can't count time.

Worship study this week

since i need to keep up for family's sake i "study"(skim, its not deep).

worship: pray, study ( wt), go to meetings ( formal, not gathering 2 or 3), preach.

thrn add helping build halls, donating, and since donations go one way only, give material aid to others.. note construction time isn't for service,( but i may have turned in time for it).

i say: it ain't.. i've lived in fort worth all but ten of my seventy-five years.. nobody ever asked me why fort worth is called cow town.. i would guess it is self-evident.. how many of us who live in fort worth realize those two words are gleaming with history?.

How is the 'Cost of Living Crisis' affecting you?

here in the uk we've recently had the price cap on household energy bills raised by around £800 and there'll be another similar raise this autumn.. food prices are up, petrol is around £1.82 per litre - that's $10.37 per gallon for our american friends - and inflation is currently running at 9%.

business are being hit as ordinary folk prioritise their spending.

young folks are effectively priced out of the housing market and wage rises are not keeping pace.. mrs nic' and i are fortunate in that we're both in secure employment and with the kids moved out and mortgage paid off our outgoings are thankfully low.

Noticably more money going to food and "energy". Retired so no concern about commuting. Afternoon drives are affected a little.

I notice a increase in home improvement, partlydue to home value, but also seems tobe related to staying home for relaxation. A simple patio set is obscenely priced.

The healthcosts will rise more. If the car needs replaced or just tires it is an eye opener.

Local schools cut ties to police liason officers, then hired armed security. Not in every school, but just driving one to other.🤔

The reason was the police interacted with misbehaving minorities instead of doing quotas by race.

Simon is right that police in general will not engage because they get accused of racism or brutality. We have an increase in large scale shoplifting too, same reason.

The perp is a poster boy for the new left agenda instead of one of us rednecks.

how do jws resolve these conflicting facts.. 1. no matter how you spin it, bible chronology calculates to circa 4000 bc for adam's creation.

i followed the trail many years ago and that's what it adds up to.. 2. the most cursory investigation of any branch of relevant science puts man's habitation on the earth as hugely earlier than that.

it's now so well-proved that anyone disputing it is guilty of wilful ignorance.

Simple Question Re 1914

wt claims that satan was thrown out of heaven in october 1914 precipitating ww!

and the end times.
